The Story Behind Crunch®
Like many great chocolates, Crunch® started with a ‘what if’ moment in 1938. While thinking about new and tasty ideas, the chocolatiers at Nestlé Confectionery’s Fulton factory in New York hit upon a delicious twist. They added cereal pieces to their popular milk chocolate bar, and faster than you can say, crispy, crunchy, cereal—the Crunch® bar was born! Its unique combination of creamy milk chocolate and light, crispy bites were a smash hit.
In 1992, Crunch® was introduced in its now legendary red and blue packaging. It also had a series of memorable TV ads in the 1980s with many great taglines like “S·CRUNCH·OUS.”
Today, Crunch® chocolate has fans across the globe, and its big bars make it ideal for snacking and sharing. Many things come and go, but the great taste and simple chocolate and crispy rice magic of Crunch® stay the same!
